Who do you provide services for?

We provide scrap metals and garbage pick-up for anyone; homeowner's, businesses, clean-ups, construction sites, etc. through our Tote, Lugger, and Roll Off bin services . Our live dispatch will be happy to assist you over the phone (519-743-0205 ext. 2), or feel free to use our 'Request a Quote' form and our live dispatch will get back to you as soon as possible.

 

What are your hours of operation?

Our public yards are open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM between Monday to Friday.

 

Am I able to walk/drive into Joseph & Company's yards to sell metal?

Absolutely, we encourage it! Our public yards are best accessed with a vehicle, however we do allow walk-ins on Tuesdays. 

Driving or walking into our yards, please remember to follow the instructions of our employees for your ease and safety throughout the yard.

 

Where do I bring my scrap metals?

Joseph & Company has two separate public yards, both equipped with large size scales. Our non-ferrous yard (non-steel/iron) is located at 257 Victoria Street North, and our ferrous yard (steel/iron) is located minutes away at 34 Lancaster Street West.

 

What type of ID do I need to be able to sell metals?

We accept valid Ontario Drivers Licenses and Ontario Photo ID cards. 

 

Can I buy scrap metals from your public yards for personal use?

To ensure the safety of our customers and staff members, customers are not permitted to wander our public yards. As a result, we do not sell material or any individual items for personal use. 

 

Will Joseph & Company pick up my scrap metals for me?

To get the best price from your scrap metals, we recommend that you bring in your scrap metals into our public yards. If you have a larger quantity of metals that needs removal, please contact our live dispatch via phone or e-mail to discuss one of the many services it can be collected.

 

Do I need to wear safety gear when visiting your public yards?

We pride ourselves on keeping our public yards clean, and are well monitored for your safety. We do recommend that you wear the appropriate attire for an industrial working enviroment; closed shoes and full length pants. Please abide by the posted rules within the yard and instructions given by the yard employees for your safety.

 

How do I know what scrap metals I have?

If you are unsure of what metals you have, feel free to come to our public yards and have our knowledgeable staff help identify your metals.

 

Can I drop off my electronic waste (e-waste) at your yards?

Joseph & Company accepts all types of e-waste, our e-waste disposal is located at 257 Victoria Street North.

 

How much money will I receive for my scrap metals?

Joseph & Company offers competitive pricing. Pricing of metals can fluctuate on a day to day basis depending on the market.
